If the Cycle as both Goals and Competency follow the steps for the calculation.
Employee Score and Rating calculation for only Goals.
For ex:-
- For the first goal, the employee's achieved score is 100 and weightage is 50 so his rating will be 5
- For the second Goal the employee's achieved score is 75 and weightage is 50 so his rating will be = 75/20(difference between 80 to 100 is 20) = 3.75
- So follow the same procedure for all the Goals
Employee Rating for Competency.
1st Competency rating = 4
2nd Competency rating = 5
1st Goal Weight-based score = weight * achieved score / 100
(50*100)/100=50
2nd Goal Weight-based score = weight * achieved score / 100
(50*75)/100=37.5
Total of all the goals weight-based score= (50+37.5) = 87.5
Goal Section weight-based score= (Goal section weight * total goals weight-based score) * 100
(80*87.5)/100=70
Competency Section weight-based score = (Goal section weight * overall competency category rating)/100 = (20*4.5)/100
= 0.9
Total Score= Goal Section weightage score + Competency Section weightage score
Total score =70 + 0.9 = 70.9
The same calculation method will be applied for Manager ratings also.
